Job Description

Water Hygiene Engineer Birmingham- £20,000- £26,000+ Benefits (DOE) My client, A leading UK provider in Water Treatment and Hygiene Services to a variety of industries is looking for Water Hygiene Technicians to join our highly successful team due to expansion plans. Do you have experience in Water hygiene and Monitoringand the desire to progress and work for a company that appreciates you and has an amazing growth strategyTo apply for this Water Hygiene Engineer role, you MUST have:

  • Have a full UK driving licence (Essential)
  • Experience in a similar Water hygiene or monitoring related role is essential (preferably 2 years +)
  • An NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing is desirable but not necessary
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Self-motivation to work efficiently on your own initiative and ability to work as part of a team
  • Knowledge of Legionella control in accordance with ACOP L8 & HSG274 would be advantageous
Key Duties & Responsibilities of the Water Hygiene Engineer will be:
  • TMV servicing and replacements and other Remedial jobs
  • Chemical descaling of Calorifiers, Cooling towers and Showers
  • Temperature checks and Water Monitoring
  • CWST inspections
  • Bacteria Legionella and Water sampling
  • Performing Chlorinations and Tank cleans
  • Carrying out all procedures in line with Health and Safety and Company procedures
