Job Description

HOT OFF THE PRESS! A BRAND-NEW OPPORTUNITY NOW AVAILABLE!Warehouse Operative/Local Delivery Driver Based in ErdingtonMonday to Friday - 8.00am till 5.00pm (1 hours unpaid lunch)£25,000PAPermanent contract.Full training will be provided.**Full UK Driving Licence is essential**A perfect opportunity for a hands-on, ambitious hard worker to join a small team of industrial professionals! No previous driving experience is required as full training will be provided by the client. There are bags of opportunity to develop and progresswithin this role and beyond for the right person!My client has a fantastic proven track record of developing employees (with some of them still working there!) and is dedicated to investing time into those who show willing.Main duties of the role will include;

  • Local customer deliveries, generally between 5-7 per day (can sometimes vary).
  • Booking stock in and out of the warehouse.
  • Picking and packing items ready for dispatch - Small items, no heavy lifting.
  • Working as part of a small warehouse team, interacting, and helping where necessary.
  • Liaising closely with the office as well as the warehouse.
  • Updating the inhouse system (simple IT knowledge required) with order and stock information.
  • Flexibility around your daily routine will be essential as my client is a reactive business.
The successful candidate will have;My client can teach the skill, but they cannot teach attitude therefore someone who possesses a good outlook to work is the most important over all else!
  • Basic IT knowledge is required.
  • Full UK Driving licence is essential - Please do not apply if you do not have this.
  • Warehouse experience is essential.
  • Must have a can do attitude, be willing to learn and integrate well within a small team structure.
  • Excellent communication skills, confident in own ability.
  • Good organisational skills
