Gi Group are recruiting for a warehouse operative for our client based in Marston Green.Our client will provide training for all departments they run onsite as this will turn into a multi skilled role. This is a temp to perm opportunity to the right candidate. The majority of the role will be assigned to their Aerospace client. Pays - £10.36 per hour Driving licence is ESSENTIAL to this role.Shifts will start out as 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday, they might change in the new year to 10am-6pmIf you have held or hold a current C/B fork lift licence this will be a great advantage but not essential.Job Role and duties are;- As a Multi Trained Operative youll support our contractual obligations for eachcustomer ensuring their day to day business needs are met in line with Service- Using the Warehouse Management System provided transact material flow fromreceipt to dispatch.- Under certification operate mechanical handling equipment, e.g. Forklifts, Pallet- Trucks, Sack Trollies, platforms and lifts.- Contract Packing and Kitting.- Pick and Dispatch commodities under storage.- Stores picking.- Component batch and assemble. Asset movement between value streams to aid linkage and flow. Inventory checking and control.
