We are a friendly family company looking for a Warehouse Operative for manual labour duties, which require strength and stamina. Responsibilities include loading and unloading containers and lorries. The potential Warehouse Operative needs to be motivatedand willing to learn. Punctuality and reliability are essential. Other duties include preparing orders for dispatch, health and safety duties, general housekeeping duties, stock movement within the warehouse, processing returns, using warehouse equipment,and mail order preparation.The potential candidate needs to be able to carry out instructions and be able to lift 25kg. Previous experience would be helpful but not essential. Full training will be given. We also require good literacy and numeracy skills. A good level of spoken andwritten English is expected.Please reply with CV. Telephone interview will be conducted in the first instances for candidates selected leading to a formal interview. The position is Full Time 5 days a week Monday to Friday.Hours are 10am to 5.30pm (Mon-Thur) and 10am-5pm (Fri), a total of 34.5 hours a week. We DO NOT operate zero hours contracts. Full Time hours are given. (On site, no remote working).Pay begins at 10.50 an hour. This is initially a 3 month contract, with a view to permanency for the successful candidate.
