Job Description

Vending Machine EngineerLocation: West Midlands Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30AM to 5.00PM (1 in 4 call out weekends) Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 DOE + £35.00 weekend stand by plus overtime for call outs 1 in 4 weekends Job Type: Permanent Your Responsibilities:As a Vending Machine Engineer, youll be at the forefront of ensuring the seamless operation of snack, can/bottle, and automatic hot drinks machines. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Diagnostic Expertise: Swiftly diagnose and address malfunctions, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal machine performance.
  • Proactive Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance checks and implement preventive measures to uphold peak machine performance.
  • Technical Repairs: Expertly replace or repair faulty components, including dispensing mechanisms and electrical elements, to restore machines to working order.
  • Inventory Management: Efficiently manage inventory for timely repairs, respond professionally to service calls, and deliver effective customer support.
  • Technical Expertise: Program and calibrate machines for consistent high-quality beverage dispensing. Stay abreast of software enhancements and maintain meticulous records for performance analysis.
The Ideal Candidate:We are seeking an individual who embodies the following qualities:
  • Experience: Previous experience within coffee or vending machines is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Showcase strong electromechanical skills, demonstrating a keen ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Organizational Excellence: Possess strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Drivers License: A Full Driving Licence is a prerequisite for this role.
  • Punctuality: Exhibit excellent timekeeping skills, ensuring prompt response and resolution.
  • IT Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in IT, including Excel and Microsoft Word.
