Job Description

Job Title: Vehicle Hire Booking AgentTemporary to Permanent Position - Immediate StartLocation: Birmingham B37Role Type: Full Time (office based)Office Hours: Between 8.30am and 6pm. Flexibility to work within these hours, on a 7 hour day (plus 1 hour for lunch). One Saturday per month, between 9am and 12pm.Salary: £22,000 per annum Holiday @ £11.20 per hour + BonusBonus: Eligible to participate in a non-contractual, discretionary performance related bonus scheme, with earnings potential up to 15% of base salary (subject to successful completion of probationary period).Summary: Exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business, working as a Hire Booking Agent, administering vehicle hire bookings. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals, with a passion for customer service,to join our team, working in a modern office environment located in Birmingham.Key Responsibilities

  • Manage vehicle hire and repair bookings, online or via telephone
  • Record customer information, including taking payments
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers, resolving queries and providing progress updates
  • Arrange delivery and collection of hire vehicles
  • Represent the business and our panel of suppliers in a professional, courteous and efficient manner
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience working in vehicle hire / rental
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional and courteous manner with customer service experience
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in car rental or vehicle repair is desirable but not essential (full training will be provided)
