Job Description

Vb.net developer BirminghamMy client based in Birmingham is looking to hire aa VB.Net developer to join their team based in the centre of Birmingham!We are looking for a candidate with strong track record in VBScript, VB6, VB.NET and SQL experience. You will be responsible for integrating certain industry standard software with the clients bespoke CRM system. You will work alongside their existing developers,primarily concentrating on our primary software.TO be successful in this role you should have the following experience:

  • Experience with VB - minimum 2 to 3 years (must have used within the last 6 months)
  • Experience with VB.net - minimum 1 year (must have used within the last 6 months)
  • Keen, enthusiastic and a proactive attitude, with excellent problem solving skills
  • Lives in a convenient location for travelling to work. The job is office based with some home working allowed.
The company use the following technology stack that is relevant for this role:
  • *VB.NET
  • *Web services/ASP.net / Microsoft.net framework
  • *VB6 (COM/ADO)/VBScript
  • *SQL Server 2008 / Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services / T-SQL/stored procedures/user defined functions
  • Visual SourceSafe/TFS
