Vape Shop Assistant Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Vape Shop Assistant. As a Vape Shop Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vape shop while providing excellent customer service. In additionto assisting customers with their vaping needs, you will also support the customer services and digital marketing teams as required. This position requires a strong knowledge of vaping products, exceptional communication skills, a passion for helping others,and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing them with personalised assistance and guidance on vaping products, accessories, and e-liquids. Offer recommendations based on their preferences and requirements.
2. Sales and Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the various vape products, including e-cigarettes, mods, tanks, coils, and e-liquids. Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions, upsell products, and provide accurate informationon product features, benefits, and usage.
3. Educate Customers: Educate customers on vaping techniques, safety measures, and proper maintenance of vaping devices. Advise them on nicotine levels, flavour profiles, and any potential risks associated with vaping. Promote responsible and legal vaping practices.
4. Support Customer Services Team: Assist the customer services team by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing product-related information via phone, email, or in-person. Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and satisfactoryresolution of customer issues.
5. Assist Digital Marketing Team: Support the digital marketing team in executing marketing campaigns, including social media management, content creation, and online promotions. Provide input and ideas to enhance the online presence of the vape shop and engagewith customers through various digital channels.
6. Cash Handling and Inventory Management: Process sales transactions accurately, handle cash, credit card payments, and operate the cash register efficiently. Assist in managing inventory, including restocking shelves, organising products, and conducting regularinventory counts.
7. Store Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the vape shop at all times. Clean and maintain vaping devices, display cases, and product shelves. Perform routine store opening and closing procedures as required.
8. Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all applicable local and state regulations regarding the sale of vaping products. Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for both customers and staff members.
9. Stay Up-to-Date: Stay informed about the latest trends, advancements, and regulations in the vaping industry. Attend training sessions and product knowledge seminars provided by the company to enhance your expertise.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of vaping products, accessories, and e-liquids.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and sales abilities.
• Ability to multitask and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for store cleanliness and organisation.
• Familiarity with local and state regulations related to vaping products is a plus.
• Must be of legal age to handle and sell vaping products in your jurisdiction.
• Willingness to support the customer services and digital marketing teams as and when required.
