Job Title: University AccountantLocation: BirminghamSalary: £40,521 - £41,732 per annum - SS7.Job type: Permanent, Full-time.University College Birmingham works in partnership with the University of Warwick - Ranked eighth in the 2023 Guardian League Tables and 10th in the UK in the QS World University rankings 2023.The Role:University College Birmingham are seeking an exceptional individual to join us as a University Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced centralised Finance Team within a rapidly expanding, award winning University.We are based in central Birmingham with excellent facilities within the institution and around the city.As a pivotal member of our dedicated and friendly Finance Team, you will play a crucial role assisting the Head of Finance in preparing and providing financial and management information across the University. As a line manager within an expanding team,you will provide day-to-day supervision for staff, fostering a well-motivated and positive team environment.You will be a fully qualified Accountant with relevant finance experience, a high level of IT skill, accuracy, and attention to detail. You will have effective interpersonal skills and be able to communicate well with colleagues at all levels.Benefits:
