Trade and Working Capital Originator BirminghamAs a Barclays Trade and Working Capital Originator, you will be an integral part of the Working Capital Product Origination team for Large Corporates. The team focuses on delivering trade finance and working capital solutions to both UK headquartered and UKsubsidiaries of Large Corporates. You will have an opportunity to drive and be accountable for delivering Trade & Working capital revenue, building new and enhancing existing customer relationships within the Large Corporate segment. What will you be doing• Driving and accounting for delivering Trade & Working capital revenue; building new and enhancing existing customer relationships within the Large Corporate segment • Understanding the clients and where our Trade & Working capital solutions can benefit them • Establishing and managing pro-actively a portfolio of target new to bank customers • Begin accountable for driving Trade & Working Capital revenues (and returns) across a defined portfolio of Large Corporate clients and be targeted accordingly • Working with Trade Deal Management to ensure timely conclusion of new facilities • Developing, building, and maintaining relationships internally with a variety of stakeholders including corporate coverage, credit, product management, legal, operations and portfolio • Arranging and undertaking briefings and/or training for Coverage colleagues on new and developing trade solutions • Training and coaching relationship staff in the research, sale, and Implementation of core products to customers with relatively straightforward requirements What we are looking for:• Previous Trade & Working Capital origination experience is desired • Experience in Corporate Banking Coverage or Product with knowledge of services globally including complex relationships and transactions in the Large Corporate segment • Thorough and in-depth knowledge of the Trade & Working Capital product set, experience preferred whether it is from a bank, corporate treasury or fintech perspective • Entrepreneurial drive to take this business from current scale to a high growth segment with significant new business and deal origination Skills that will help you in the role:• Commercial Effectiveness, including Client/Customer Focus and Commerciality within a Corporate banking environment • Business Skills: Including Delivering Solutions and Decision Making • Personal & Social Skills: Including Communication, Influence and Collaboration • Technical Skills & Knowledge: across multiple products and new innovations in the product area Where will you be workingBarclays Snowhill is at the heart of the professional district and commands a workforce of around 1000.
