Job Description

Client:Castlefield Recruitment are working with a large Housing Association based in the West Midlands in order to recruit a Treasury Manager. My client has an excellent reputation as an employer in the region and have been recognised with awards for the way theytreat their staff. They are looking for a strong treasury management professional to aid the improvement of their team and the organisations growth ambitions.Role:Working closely with the Assistant Director of Finance, you will lead the treasury team to deliver a robust treasury strategy and manage treasury risks.Duties will include;

  • Assisting the Chief Financial Officer in developing and delivering the annual Treasury Strategy
  • Leading on the day-to-day debt, liquidity and cash management for the Group
  • Leading on the security charging process (including property valuation), through effective management of both internal and external relationships
  • Supporting on long term capital market activities including negotiations with lenders to arrange new facilities and investors presentations as required ensuring sufficient financing is in place to support the groups growth and development ambitions
  • Taking responsibility for delivering the Groups annual business plan and quarterly re-fresh, including the administration and evolution of Brixx
  • Leading on the preparation and submission of funders returns, including covenant reporting. Leading on the submission of the Regulator of Social Housings Financial Forecast Return
  • Take control of treasury reporting to the Board and its sub-committees and other key internal and external stakeholders
Person:The successful Treasury Manager:
  • AMCT qualification (or similar) is essential
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification desirable
  • Social housing experience would be beneficial, but not essential
  • Brixx experience is also beneficial, but not essential
