Job Description

Job descriptionTRANSPORT OFFICE CLERK - PERMANENTWe have an exciting role for a Transport Shift Manager working with one of the worlds biggest logistics providers in conjunction with one of the worlds best-known prestige car brands. We are looking for a hard-working,ambitious and flexible individual witha solid work history and strong work ethic. Based in either Erdington.This role is a temp-perm contract via Rapier EmploymentSalary£37,827pa (40 hrs pw payable)35 days holidayHours of work:RotatingWeek 12pm-10pmWeek 26am-2pmWeek 310pm-6amDays of work:Monday to FridayThe role:

  • Dealing with escalations
  • Driver Management (disciplinary and absence management)
  • Problem-solving (inc real-time route schedule changes)
  • Compliance and driver infringement management
  • Supervising office staff
  • Vehicle management and compliance
  • Interacting with customer
Required:
  • Transport office experience (supervisory or above)
  • Understanding of road transport legislation and driver hours & tachographs
  • Ability to work a 3-shift system (mornings/afternoons/nights)
  • Stable work history
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Flexible attitude
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office/Word/Excel) - ESSENTIAL
  • Must be able to travel to either Erdington, Minworth or Solihull
  • Own transport preferred
