Job Description

TRANSPORT OFFICE CLERK - PERMANENTWe have an exciting role for a Transport Office Clerk working with one of the worlds biggest logistics providers in conjunction with one of the worlds best-known prestige car brands. We are looking for a hard-working,ambitious and flexible individual witha solid work history and strong work ethic. Based in either Erdington or Minworth, BirminghamSalary£31,455pa (37.5 hrs pw)Hours of work:RotatingWeek 12pm-10pmWeek 26am-2pmWeek 310pm-6amDays of work:Monday to FridayThe role:

  • Greeting drivers at start of shift, handing out keys and paperwork, checking details
  • Tracking vehicles en-route, reporting any delays, time changes or problems to senior staff.
  • De-brief at the end of shift, take back keys and paperwork.
  • Answer any driver queries
  • Download driver digicard
  • Other duties as required
  • Data entry
Required:
  • Transport office experience (or similar) -PREFERRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
  • Ability to work a 3-shift system (mornings/afternoons/nights)
  • Stable work history
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Flexible attitude
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office/Word/Excel) - ESSENTIAL
  • Must be able to travel to either Erdington, Minworth or Solihull
  • Own transport preferred
