Job Description

Gleeson Recruitment Group are exclusively working with a fast growing business based in Birmingham Aston.As the Transport Compliance officer you will be a key part of the operation ensuring a smooth day-to-day plan, Our client offers a plan for progression, Flexi working and much more.Job Title: Transport Compliance CoordinatorSalary: £30,000 - up toKey Duties:

  • Ensure external checks align with FORS standards and are conducted regularly for all drivers.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and create incident reports for any vehicle-related issues.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to maintain updated driver training records and notify employees of necessary training sessions.
  • Oversee tachograph downloads, handle infringement reports, and conduct driver debriefs.
  • Perform comprehensive audits to assess driver performance and compliance.
  • Aid the Operations Manager in supervising group purchases and services.
  • Implement Health and Safety Policies: Assist in the roll-out and enforcement of health and safety protocols.
  • Support the implementation of transport-related policies and procedures.
  • Central Support Hub: Serve as a central support resource for Transport and Health & Safety across all branch locations.
  • Maintain adherence to operators licenses, driver hours, and standards.
  • Use dedicated in-house software for Health & Safety and Transport compliance.
  • Ensure timely responses to incoming calls and emails.
  • Site Maintenance Assistance: Undertake necessary site maintenance tasks as required.
  • Fulfil any additional responsibilities as directed by management.

  • Transport Experience 2Yr +
  • Working towards a CPC
