Your new roleTwo roles are currently available working at National Highways within our busy financial transactions team and carrying out a range of processing and administrative duties. We have one position within our Accounts Payable team and one within our AccountsReceivable team.These roles are key in supporting the efficient payment of National Highways supplier invoices, and the raising and collection of outstanding invoices to our customers.The roles will be based at our Birmingham office, with a flexible working approach.What youll be leading onProcessing transactions in our Oracle Fusion Accounting system following defined procedures and ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely mannerWorking closely with colleagues from both within the immediate transactions team and other areas of the business to ensure accuracy at all timesBeing aware of the importance of key performance targets and supporting the team in making sure that they are met at all timesLiaising with internal business teams and external stakeholders in order to resolve outstanding issues.Supporting line management in seeking to ensure continuous improvement in how the team operatesBuilding and maintaining effective working relationships with customers from both within and outside of the companyTo be successfulEvidence of good time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively where workloads are busyAbility to follow instructions and work flexibly as part of a team, with a willingness to learn and develop broader skills and knowledgeGood customer service skills including the ability to liaise successfully with internal and external stakeholders.Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
