Job Description

Overall job purposeThe role of a Training Supervisor offers an excellent opportunity to work in a team that is dedicated to designing and delivering outstanding training for everyone in the firm. This role provides the chance to impact the journey of students new to the professionthrough the delivery of innovative and effective personal skills training. The individual will have excellent communication skills, a passion for learning and development and a desire to deliver training.Responsibilities

  • You will be the primary trainer for student personal skills courses and will be responsible for the delivery of this programme.
  • You will be involved in developing and updating training materials to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the business.
  • You will need excellent communication skills and be able to suggest appropriate learning solutions, whether these are classroom courses, webinars, videos or other media.
  • You should be imaginative and pro-active in your approach to delivering both individual training courses and the programme of courses as a whole.
  • The firm uses accelerated learning techniques in its course delivery and whilst it is not necessary to be experienced or trained in these techniques you must be willing to embrace them with appropriate guidance. These techniques use courses that are moreinteractive and put the emphasis on the learner than the trainer solely delivering material in a lecture style.
  • Classroom courses will be delivered nationally and there is a requirement to travel to any of our RSM UK offices / external locations if required.
  • Alongside the training of courses, you will also be required to maintain records of training and liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure those who need to are enrolled on the correct courses. A good understanding of reporting and IT skills will be required.
  • You will assist with enhancing the student experience as required.
  • You may be asked to participate in project work on an ad hoc basis.

  • You are self-motivated and can manage your own time
