Job Description

Trainee Water Hygiene TechnicianBirmingham£20,000- £22,000 + Benefits (Depending on Experience)Based in the Midlands, our client who are a specialist in the water sector is looking for a reliable and trustworthy candidate with an open mindset to learn new skills and take on the role of a Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer. The successful candidate willreceive full training and the opportunity to progress through the business dealing with a range of customers on site.Key duties of the Trainee Water Hygiene Technician will include:

  • Water sampling, (testing for Legionella bacteria)
  • Flushing, (scouring pipes by flushing water through them)
  • Descaling, (to remove limescale and bacteria)
To apply for the Trainee Water Hygiene Technician candidates will need the following background:
  • A desire to work in a service related role, working with clients on site in a range of commercial and domestic locations
  • A full UK drivers license - this is required to get to site locations
  • Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail
  • Any experience in Legionella or Water awareness would be beneficial but this is not essential as full training will be provided
