Job Description

If you’ve answered yes to the above, we want to hear from you.Personality is the most important aspect of this Trainee Account Manager role, as our client wants to receive applications from those who have very little experience but have big personalities and even bigger drive and determination. Based in BirminghamCity Centre, you will be joining an esteemed company that has just experienced its best month to date! The managerial team loves nothing more than seeing their team flourish and as they have a passion for training and development, you’ll have the support oftwo of their most successful Account Managers who will show you the ropes, and you will be provided with a solid career path that will lead to big things.Initially joining as a trainee, you’ll spend the first couple of weeks soaking up all you can, learning the role inside and out and gaining a solid understanding of the company and what they offer. In time, you’ll then start to take on your own responsibilitiesand will enjoy a varied and proactive role that will see you:
  • promote offers to existing customers
  • identify potential opportunities
  • initiate contact through regular outbound calls
  • work towards and achieve targets
As mentioned, personality is of utmost importance, but it would be beneficial if you also demonstrated:
  • an understanding of sales
  • an eagerness to work towards targets
  • an ability to build rapport and cultivate relationships
Upon joining you’ll be offered a salary of between £18,000 and £20,500 plus commission, which is anticipated to be around £5,000 within your first year.
