Press Toolmaker£32,000 + benefitsEarly finish on a Friday!Are you a talented press toolmaker with a passion for precision engineering Do you enjoy creating high-quality tools that contribute to the manufacturing process Look no further!Specialising in the design, build and manufacture of high precision tooling and components, the company supplies its solutions to customers in multiple sectors including telecommunications, plumbing, automotive, aerospace, medical, pharmaceutical and renewables.Responsibilities:" Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications." Operating a variety of manual and computer-controlled machinery, such as lathes, mills, and grinders." Building and developing new press tools- progression and single stage - feeding back to the design team to update and improve drawings." Collaborating with engineers and production teams to ensure tooling meets required specifications." Strip and rebuild of tools for maintenance/ repair and re-grind" Conducting quality inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve tooling issues." Performing regular maintenance and repairs to extend the lifespan of tools.Requirements:" Previous precision progression toolmaking experience." Experience of working with tungsten carbide tooling." Strong knowledge of tooling materials, machining techniques, and manufacturing processes." Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications." Skilled in operating various toolroom machinery and equipment." Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities." Strong organizational and time management skills."
