Are you an experienced broadband installation engineer that is seeking a move from the norm and would relish the chance to work for an alternative network that will allow you to progress up the ladder soonerWe are recruiting experienced Fibre Installation Engineers to support our clients expansion across the UK.We are looking for engineers who go that extra mile, that has exceptional customer service skills, that are keen to learn, are adaptable and genuinely excited to be part of a fast-growing organisation.Job Purpose:Installation of FTTP into business and residential properties.Key Responsibilities:You will be able to read and understand technical drawings and specification sheets including our clients current fibre planning softwareConducting in-depth site survey reports for Fibre deployment (Overhead, underground and the proposal of alternative routes)Installation of overhead & underground fibre within PIA requirementsResponding to and resolving customer faultsOTDR testing, fusion Splicing, terminating and testing internal and external optical cables in-line with our quality standardsAssisting other installation teams across the UK where necessary to support customer needs or project timescalesLiaising with both colleagues and customers; keeping in regular contact with office staff & your team leaderPleasant customer mannerCorrect use of safety equipment and procedures, ensuring H&S/Highways guidelines for safe roadside working are always followed and implementedWorking in accordance with the clients and customers Health and Safety requirements.Completing risk assessmentsPerson Specification:Fibre installation/splicing skills and experienceCurrent clean driving license with a willingness to travel and clear DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one.Good understanding of fibre terminology and the ability to communicate this effectively to customers as well as colleagues within the businessWell-presented and able to demonstrate a professional image as the face of the businessExceptional Customer Service skillSalary and other information:These roles can be either on a contract basis or permanent.Salaries are negotiable depending on experience and location.To apply, please send over your up-to-date CV and we will respond as soon as we can
