Job Description

Technical Sales Manager - Thermal Insulation Job Title: Technical Sales Manager - Thermal InsulationIndustry Sector: XPS, Sound Insulations, Thermal Insulation, Waterproofing, Membranes, Geosynthetics, Facades, Roofing, Insulation, Polymers, Construction Building Products, Construction Chemicals, Technical Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, SpecificationSalesArea to be covered: National (focus on South & Midlands however will consider Manchester to London)Remuneration: £58,000 - £62,000 + 10% bonusBenefits: hybrid / electric company car or equivalent & comprehensive full benefitsThe role of the Technical Sales Manager - Thermal Insulation will involve:

  • Technical field sales role selling a high quality manufactured range of thermal insulation for the industrial and fabrication portfolio
  • All of your time will be spent selling into end users and fabricators such as: door panel manufacturers, caravan parks and the transport industry
  • You will inherit circa 6 key accounts that look after themselves however will need dedicated attention
  • Demonstrating an understanding of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR), the CE & UKCA markings and the UK Building Regulations
  • Being responsible for maintaining and renewing product certification such as; BBA, BREEAM and ISO
  • Will inherit circa £10m turnover responsibility
  • Conducting CPD’s where needed
The ideal applicant will be a Technical Sales Manager - Thermal Insulation experience with:
  • Must have technical field sales experience in the construction industry
  • Ideally insulation, roofing, waterproofing or building envelope
  • Must have commercial experience ideally within the insulation market place
  • Genuine desire to succeed and want to develop a long term career
  • Good work ethic, energetic and enthusiastic
  • Commercially capable, loyal and technical
