Job Description

Closing Date: 09/01/2022Want to be part of the biggest celebration of sport and culture in 2022Birmingham 2022 is looking for a Team Administrator to join the Venue and Village Development and Overlay Department. This is a key role supporting the team proactively taking responsibility of key administration tasks to ensure the team is able to functionefficiently.The Team Administrator will be supporting with diary management, preparing presentations and minutes, organising key documentation and working with various stakeholders to coordinate all key tasks.The successful applicant will have excellent attention to detail, be willing to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate administrative and organisational skills.Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage the day-to-day administration of the team, including diary management, scheduling meetings and agendas, managing high traffic inboxes and coordinating key tasks.
  • Responsible for preparing presentations, letters, minutes and the collation of weekly reports.
  • Organise key project documentation including electronic filing and document control.
  • Coordinate all annual leave, absence requests and booking of travel arrangements for staff.
  • Undertake background research for projects and prepare written briefing notes.
  • Support the Operational Readiness team by taking active duties within the Venue Command Centre which will operate before and after Games Time.
  • Take on the unique opportunity of a Games time role.

  • Strong administration experience with a meticulous eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to organise tasks effectively and deliver to a high standard on time.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with strong interpersonal skills.

  • An interest in the events industry.
