Job Description

Teaching Assistant - StechfordAn exciting opportunity to work in a highly rewarding role, within an established setting. You will be supported and guided by current members of staff, and will inevitably become a valued member of their friendly, welcoming team.Location: StechfordDuration: Full-time, temp to perm role (Part-time may also be considered)Working hours: 8:30am - 3:30pmYear group: Primary SENSalary: £65 - £90 per day (Depending on experience/ qualifications)The ideal candidate would have experience working with SEN needs and/or with challenging behaviour. However, experience does not necessarily have to come from within a school - Other settings that also cater to individuals with special needs, such as carehomes or residential homes would also be acceptable.This role would suit someone who is not afraid to be hands on and get stuck in. You need to be compassionate, caring and committed to making a positive change to young peoples lives.This role involves working with primary aged children. The children in the class have different needs (SEMH, SEBD, ASD, Challenging behaviour) so you need to be able to easily adapt and work with children of different levels/ requirements.A new, enhanced DBS will be required for this role or an existing subscription to the DBS update service. If this is something you do not currently have, I will be happy to assist you.Balfor are members of the REC.
