Job Description

Full time Tax Client Administrator with flexible working opportunity and work on site in the office in the Birmingham City Centre. The position is a new position which will incorporate elements of Business Support and finance, full training will be provided.Client DetailsMy client is a large global finance organisation looking for a Tax Client Administrator based on site their Birmingham office with the opportunity of flexible working.Description

  • Alphatax and to-do reports (fortnightly)
  • Alphatax submissions (as required)
  • IXBRL uploads to the portal, IXBRL queries, first point of contact with the SSC, dealing with urgent requests, extracting tagged accounts and sending them to the BT team (BT, Medical, audit, Drive and London jobs)
  • Timecard reports every Monday
  • Fee spreadsheets and collates info for the Ambition schedule
  • Urgent/complicated billing that cant go to the hub
  • Co-ordinating information for tax provisions with Drive and uploading to the SSC
  • STBV - monthly/annual support on tracking/portal work
  • Liaison with audit client coordinators in respect of timing of audits, provisions required and when and when final accounts are available.
  • Collection of ID etc.
  • Finalising engagement letters
  • Supporting the team with Client Take On
  • Liaison with the BSH to get tasks done
  • Coding supplier invoices for the tax team
Supporting major client:
  • Dealing with new sign ups in terms of collating and issuing joiner packs
  • Liaising with Canaccord to arrange pension and tax and financial healthcheck meetings
  • Support with the monthly cash allocation and billing process
  • Contacting individual clients on ad hoc matters to arrange calls/meetings
  • Support team around the administration relating to the annual tax return process
Support the core expat team with our Assignment Management Solutions software which we utilise for managing clients Expatriate Tax populations, this will include adding new assignees, managing uploads and downloads of documentation, uploading of tax returnand other compliance process related dataSupport the Expat team with the administration relating to the annual tax return process and other monthly/annual compliance processes such as modified payrolls and P11DsSupport the team with maintaining of our internal risk management tracking, e.g. helping monitor our risk management spreadsheet to notify us of upcoming refreshes of client take on/engagement letters etc.Other adhoc admin tasks for the whole teamProfile
  • Previous experience working in a Tax department would be desirable.
  • Previous experience as a Senior Administrator.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills is essential.
  • Highly organised.
  • Great communicator who is personable and engaging.
  • Team player and can work effectively in a team.
  • Has a strong interest in working for a professional corporate organisation.
  • Tax Client Administrator experience would be desirable
  • Commute to Birmingham.
Job Offer
