Production Planner, based in B30 for a great business that is successful within plastic injection moulding. Reporting to: Operations Director Salary: £30k-£32k Pension, 25 Days Holiday Core Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm Daily with 1:00pm finish on Friday. Scope of role:To manage the production planning system end to end Support the business with management of customers including, schedules, supply chain issues, production, assembly, and dispatch. Produce and manage the production planning phase on a weekly and daily basis to achieve the day-to-day objectives. Regularly communicating and collaborating with other departments. Manage the production monitoring system, and hourly outputs to ensure internal targets are achieved and report against improvements. As Supply Chain Co-Ordinator your main duties will comprise: - Managing the scheduling and production plan to achieve the monthly sales plan. - Produce weekly reports against department objectives and present to the Board. - Ensuring ERP system is up to date and accurate and that ERP system is properly utilised. - Raising sales / purchase orders and invoices. - Chasing deliveries of products / expediting. - Logistics administration. - Liaising with customers on delivery of goods. - All general administrative support to the department. - Review of all incoming orders for accuracy and adherence to commercial agreements (Pricing/MOQ etc) - Sales order entry and use of Web EDI functions - Maintain accurate stock control across the plant, through close liaison with the stores department. - 5s management. - Daily running of supply chain to production line. - Run regular and focused MPS/MRP processes using the companys ERP system - Ensure all outputs from the ERP system are actioned and monitored. - Book transport as required and ensure all ASNs, packing lists etc. are accurately delivered in a timely manner. - Support as required on new project introductions. - Identify and eliminate waste in the process wherever possible. - To be available out of hours to support a plant that runs 24/5 to meet customer demandsCall Nikki for more info.
