Job Title: Student Immigration Advice and Compliance OfficerLocation: BirminghamSalary: £29,605 - £32,982 per annum - SS4.Job type: Full-time, Fixed Term (Up to 12 Months).University College Birmingham works in partnership with the University of Warwick - Ranked eighth in the 2023 Guardian League Tables and 10th in the UK in the QS World University rankings 2023.The Role:This is an exciting time to join a new Higher Education Quality Department at University College University College Birminghams Compliance team is recruiting for a Student Immigration Advice and Compliance Officer to support with University Student Route compliance operations.To be successful for this role, you will have experience with Student Route immigration category within Higher Education. You will have good knowledge of Student Route Sponsor guidance and experience in applying the rules to support a variety of complexstudent immigration matters.You should be well versed in UKVI SMS system to include CAS issue and reporting change of circumstances. You will also be familiar with the gov.uk student visa application process to support continuing and returning students with obtaining a visa.Successful candidates are expected to be proactive problem solvers with excellent communication and organisational skills. Furthermore, you will be assertive in delivering advice to both students and faculty members as well as having a proven track recordof withstanding pressures in a very busy and changing environment.Subject to pre-employment checks, this role has a start date of February 2023.Benefits:
