Could you be a Student Engagement Coordinator for this Students Union They are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive candidate to act as the first point of contact for Student Voice.This is a brilliant opportunity to join an independent charity and company that exists to impact positively on the life of students and provides a range of services to enhance the student experience by supporting the Executive Officer Team.Student Engagement Coordinator (Student Voice)Birmingham B4 7BX£23,487 per annumFull time, Permanent PositionOur client is a Students Union providing a range of services to enhance the student experience. Services are varied and include advice and support, a student representation framework, over 100 clubs and societies, an accommodation service, headline annualevents and more.They are looking for a Student Engagement Coordinator (Student Voice) to join the team and coordinate the Student Course Representatives system alongside the Vice President of Education. You will effectively implement student engagementon campus by supporting the Executive Officer Team.In this role you will support the effective delivery of the democratic functions of the Students Union (including the Annual General Meeting, Elections, Boards and Committees, Student Course Representatives) and other key engagement projects such as Student-ledCampaigns, Speak Week and more.As Student Engagement Coordinator (Student Voice), you will be responsible for:

• Organising the recruitment and training of Student Reps.
• Organising and leading the training of all Student Reps (including distance learners).
• Planning, promoting and supporting SU officer elections.
• Increasing awareness and participation amongst students.
• Providing guidance and advice on elections best-practice across the SU.
• Developing, delivering and evaluating training programmes for Elected Officers, Student Reps and volunteers.
• Regularly monitoring and adjusting the online management system for the Student Reps and Voice.
• Monitoring and developing the skills of Student Reps, maintaining regular communication throughout the academic year.
• Acting as an Executive Officer buddy to support them during their time in office.
• Ensuring appropriate promotion of the opportunities available to students, driving engagement and reducing barriers to participation.
• Providing appropriate administrative support for all democratic meetings, including the Officer Committee and Student Council, with agendas and minutes produced within agreed timescales.
• Ensuring the Student Voice sections of the SU website are up-to-date and relevant.
• Organising and promoting award ceremonies.
• Supporting the annual Students Union elections and By-Elections.
