Stores Person / Stock ControllerBirmingham£9.90 per hourMonday to Friday7:00am - 3:30pmWeekly PaidWe are currently looking for a Stores Person / Stock Controller whose main responsibility will be to take deliveries and manage stock levels of the various items that are used throughout the facilities in Birmingham.Duties of Stores Person / Stock Controller* Be responsible for receiving and checking all deliveries* Ensure all stock is stored in the correct manner* Ensure stock is ordered and replenished in timely manner to prevent delay in rectifying faults. * Liaise with suppliers and handle queries relating to delivery and stock discrepancies* Keep a record of and report any frequent shortages or spare items* Keep inventory management systems up to date* Carry out regular stock takes* Support with the implementation of a stock and inventory control management system* Management of the stock and inventory control management system* Organise and deliver goods from the stores to the relevant departments as required* Liaise with both frontline staff and the management team to ensure all items required are procured* Management of all stock storage locations across all managed areas.* Ensure that the Companys policies are upheld.* To ensure full compliance at all times with health and safety regulations, precautions, safe working practices and Data Protection requirements.* Carry out a regular count of materially managed items, to an agreed schedule using a computerised stock control system * Produce electronic top up orders according to procedures.* Transport goods in a safe manner to designated wards/departments.* Ensure stock rotation for top up lists as agreed with Line Manager.* Assist with the receipt and booking in of parcels within goods in and cover the Goods in Personnel* Maintain a safe and tidy working area.* Carry out training courses as required by the Company.* Other duties within the scope of the post that are considered commensurate to this role.Experience required for Stores Person / Stock Controller* IT skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office and inventory management systems* Experience working in a similar inventory or stock control role* Excellent organisational skills* A good knowledge of M&E & Building Fabric products that will be used in delivery of FM servicesPlease send a copy of your up to date CV for immediate consideration.
