Job title: SQL Database DeveloperSalary: £32,000 - £40,000 + 15% bonus + moreLocation: Birmingham (Remote until January, 2-3 days in the office per week thereafter) A financial organisation based in Birmingham are seeking an in-house SQL Server Database Developer to join their in-house development team to drive continuous improvement within their in-house built systems, currently based in Microsoft Access and VBA as the primary interface, as well as planning, developing and implementing new systems to meet the companys requirements. The role will include working with PHP developers to transition the company to a PHP based front end interface, developing solutions for a website redesign project and optimising existing code to provide a better user experience.The role will have opportunities to gain experience and develop skills in all areas of the companys website and applications development projects working principally in SQL Server, but with exposure to PHP, MySQL and Laravel based environments.
