Job Description

Claims Handler - HYBRID WORKINGWe are currently seeking an ambitious, driven and dynamic Claims Handler to join our highly respected clients successful and expanding Commercial Insurance teamThe ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and building effective rapports within existing and new client relationships. You should hold excellent inter-personal and telephone skills as well as the ability to communicateprecisely with others over the phone/email as well as in person as you will be required to meet with external clients and insurers.You should be results driven with a proven sales focussed approach to client relationships whilst ensuring excellent customer service and advice is always providedKey responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for your own book of clients
  • Preparing market presentations ensuring renewal strategy is reflected
  • Preparing Client renewal reports
  • Assist with day-to-day client insurance and risk queries
  • Assist with mid-term changes to risk
  • Attend Insurer / Client meetings as necessary
  • Support the Associate Director in all aspects of the insurance broking function
  • Nurture excellent client relationship
Experience in a Commercial Insurance environment as well as knowledge of Professional Indemnity Insurance is an advantage but not essentialOur client values development and progression of all their staff highly and so they also offer support for studying towards professional qualifications.
