Job Description

Xpertise has partnered with a rapidly growing corporate law firm undergoing a vast IT & Data transformation programme. The team is now looking for a Senior SQL Server Architect with extensive experience with complex databases to help them with their cloudmigration journey to Microsoft Azure. Please see further details below:Title: SQL ArchitectLocation: Remote-based with tech hubs in Birmingham and EdinburghSalary: £60,000-80,000Key tech stack / skills desired:

  • Experience with database encryption in SQL.
  • Knowledge of clustering SQL queries.
  • Proficiency with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
  • Data replication through SQL replication (transactional, snapshot, and merge) and T-SQL scripts.
  • Ability to create and maintain sophisticated SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Azure experience would be highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server being used in a SAN-based system, such as Netapp.
  • Willing to develop the abilities and talents of team members and lead projects.
  • Database administration (DBA) skills
