Job Description

Specification Sales Manager - Rainscreen Cladding FacadeJob Title: Specification Sales Manager - Rainscreen Cladding FacadeIndustry Sector: Natural Slate, Rainscreen Cladding, Ventilated Faade, Architects, Faade InstallersArea to be covered: NationalRemuneration: £45,000-£50,000 Neg. + 20% bonusBenefits: Hybrid Car & Full Benefits PackageThe role of the Specification Sales Manager - Rainscreen Cladding Facade will involve:

  • Field sales/ product champion position, promoting a manufactured range of natural slate rainscreen cladding
  • 50% of your time working hand in hand with our clients UK distributor across all regions of the UK, developing relationships to achieve maximum success
  • Going out on joint visits with UK distributors top 5-10 specifiers for each of their 12 branches nationally, whilst supporting their 60+ field sales professionals
  • 25% focussed on winning specifications with architects
  • 25% of your time working closely with the existing UK field sales team, supporting them in the promotion of the natural slate rainscreen cladding system, and also managing installers
  • Working with the marketing team to increase awareness in the industry
  • Helping to streamline the technical, sales and logistics processes of the cladding system
  • Helping our client grow revenue of natural slate rainscreen cladding from circa £500,000 to £1m
  • Developing projects from conception to completion
  • Training of the technical sales team on existing and new products
  • Presenting CPDs both in person and online to increase product awareness
The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager - Rainscreen Cladding Facade with:
  • Field sales proven track record promoting faade associated construction materials
  • Open to most cladding, faade and rainscreen field sales backgrounds
  • Fire in the belly
  • Architect specification sales experience
  • Knowledge of natural stone materials is not essential
  • Dynamic and proactive approach
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to communicate at multiple levels
