Solutions Design / Transport Project PlannerAs Solutions Design / Transport Project Planner, you will undertake and support Unipart in specialised transport planning and solution projects with the purpose of reducing cost and enhancing customer service. You will have experience of managing to set milestones in terms of timescales, cost, and other programme/project related specifications.Solutions Design / Transport Project Planner Responsibilities:• Manage projects in a highly proactive manner - you will play a key role in major projects and must be able to plan and work within specified timeframes and quality standards as part of a wider network project.• Keep up to date knowledge of relevant developments (legislation, infrastructure, etc) and apply relevant rules.• Support the creation of internal and external aspects of business cases relating to the transport work stream.• Develop your own skills set to retain professional competence and marketability – maintaining an in-depth knowledge of your own competence area and Unipart Way standards, along with maintaining your understanding of developments across the Unipart Group – e.g. standards, performance, related projects etc.Solutions Design / Transport Project Planner Requirements:• Ability to manage and present to both internal stakeholders but also our customer in a credible and knowledgeable manner• High degree of engagement capability - it is important that you can demonstrate a collaborative effort and work with various different SMEs and areas of the business• Have worked in a HGV network environment• Up to date knowledge of both Paragon (essential) and DPS Logix (desirable)• Highly numerate, accurate and detail-focused.• Fluency in Excel and Access• Full driving licenceAbout Unipart Group Limited:You may remember Unipart as the company that revolutionised the automotive parts industry in the 1970s.
