Job Description

Solar PV Designer - Renewable Energy - Manchester - £250-£275/dayMy client are a leading global Renewable Energy company based in Manchester. They are looking for an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join a dynamic team that cover the local area.The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, ensuring that they are kept up to a high standard.Responsibilities:

  • Designing solar photovoltaic systems, including selecting components, system sizing, and system configuration
  • Developing detailed schematics and drawings for solar PV systems
  • Working with engineering teams to develop solar energy solutions for customers.
  • Gathering and analysing data to determine the most cost-effective and efficient solar PV system.
  • Ensuring that all solar PV systems are correctly installed and meet safety standards.
  • Keeping up to date with solar PV industry developments and trends.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in solar PV system design.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Proficient in the use of design and modelling software.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering principles.
