Job Description

Role: Software EngineerSalary: £45k - £65kLocation: Smethwick / Harborne - BirminghamWorking: Hybrid Working - 2 days home / 3 days in the office CX Squared are partnered with a growing PropTech and online SAAS product, who is doing ambitious and innovating the auctioneering game in Birmingham. This is an internal Social Media Manager role, NOT agency.They are growing their digital and engineering team and are looking for a number of full-stack developers who have experience in React and PHP who would like the opportunity to get creative and have the freedom to bring in their usability expertise to theteam. IF you are more of a back-end or front-end software engineer, this is also great!As a Full Stack Software Developer you will be responsible for the architecture, implementation and testing of the platform, as well as defining and maintaining the standards which our software must adhere to, both in terms of development and security.Technologies

Daily & Monthly Responsibilities
  • Manage, Evolve and Improve application lifecycle.
  • Write clean, maintainable and optimised code.
  • Write unit tests as part of feature implementation.
  • Ensure work is delivered within the assigned sprint and sprint objectives are met.
  • Test work in development, staging and production environments.
  • Participate in planned releases and assist with the new feature deployments and troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshoot code issues, resolve, and commit following company standards, and version control processes.
  • Document your work, including writing API specifications and README files.
  • Participate and contribute to sprint planning sessions.
  • Build reusable code for future use
  • Optimise end-to-end services for maximum speed, scalability and security
  • Work in an agile, collaborative, multidisciplinary team
  • Build great relationships with your team and stakeholders
Must Haves
  1. Dev Ops Experience - would be great.
  2. Git Version Control Experience
  3. Minimum of 3 years experience based our tech stack above.
