Job Description

.Net Software Developer who has experience delivering .Net Core Applications with Bootstrap with MS SQL and MVC and a clear understanding of or REST principles is required for a well-established health consultancy company.SALARY: £30,000 per annum + BenefitsLOCATION: Remote Working / Home BasedJOB TYPE: Full-Time, PermanentWORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours per week, Mon to Fri between 8am & 6pmJOB OVERVIEWWe have a fantastic new job opportunity for a .Net Software Developer who has experience delivering .Net Core Applications with Bootstrap with MS SQL and MVC and a clear understanding of or REST principles.Working as a .Net Software Developer you will deliver web application software against specified requirements and collaborate and feedback on requirements to help gain business efficiency through technical excellence.As a .Net Software Developer you will be required to ensure quality via effective unit test coverage following a TDD approach and follow best practice security by design to ensure sensitive healthcare data is protected.APPLY TODAYIf this job looks like your ideal position, then please send in your CV as soon as possible for our Recruitment Team to review.DUTIESYour duties as a .Net Software Developer will include:

  • Understand complex technical and functional design requirements
  • Contribute to physical and logical database design
  • Contribute and execute on technical solutions
  • Identify system deficiencies and future best practice. Recommend / Select solution and drive delivery
  • Collaborate with the business and product teams to identify future business requirements and help formulate system scope and objectives through researched input
  • Support the wider development team to solve issues
  • Operate Field support calls at times when the support department are unavailable
  • Understand the companys objectives and values
  • Assist with colleagues work during absences
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve the running of the system
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous experience delivering .Net Core applications with Bootstrap 4+
  • Previous experience working with MS SQL with a solid understanding of relational data
  • Experience or clear understanding of REST principles
  • An understanding of NoSQL
  • Demonstrable understanding of unit testing ideally with XUnit or NUnit
  • Experience with Git using GitFlow methodology
  • Experience or understanding of CI/CD ideally with TeamCity and Octopus
  • Ability to understand a requirement and design a technical approach unsupervised
  • Good Time-Management and organisational skills
  • Good Interpersonal and communicative skills
  • Professional in appearance and approach
  • Enthusiastic with a "Can-do" attitude
  • Efficient, Proactive and adaptable to change
  • Calm under pressure with the ability to work well as part of a team
