Given the progression opportunities of the role, this position will be suitable for someonecreative, driven and hungry for progression.The Social Media Manager will play a pivotal role in growing and driving new customer base across a variety of social media platforms. You must have a high standard of writing and editing copy, both your own and checking other inbound copy whether from thePR company or online content written by others. We also require you to have a good knowledge of setting up effective ad campaigns on all social media platforms to get the best without just blowing the budget to deliver results.Responsibilities:* Running the day-to-day execution of social media and continuing the growth of brand awareness* Generating creative ideas for content* Travel opportunities to planned events such as Olympia, to generate new content for posts* Creating and delivering innovative social campaigns and plans* Liaising with external stakeholders about PR and website maintenance etc.* Utilising the in-house photography studio to capture new images, and liaising with external photo-/videography agency to organise shoots* Manage the social media department budget* Analysis on campaign successes* Working at the larger events to post content across platforms liveExperience Requirements:* Excellent working knowledge and understanding of all social media platforms* Proven track record of successful PPC campaigns* Minimum 1-year social media experience* Ability to run, target and analyse social media advertising campaigns* Proven track record creating exciting social campaigns* Ability to analyse and interpret social data to improve and develop campaigns* Keen eye for art and design and high standards for digital visual presentation* Experience working with designers and content creators* Evidence of building communities resulting from running ad campaigns* Must thrive in a fast paced and dynamic working environment and be able to work well autonomously* Confident and positive personality, both with colleagues and event partners for successful CRM* Excellent time management, organisation, prioritisation and proactivity* Fluency in English required with excellent written and verbal communication skillsDesirable:* Experience in running mailer campaigns & managing databases e.g. Mailchimp / SendGrid* Basic HTML / CSS knowledge* Basic Adobe Suite knowledgePackage:* £22-28k DOE* Opportunity for flexi-working once settled into company* 22 days holiday + 8 bank holidays* Start date: ASAP* Location: BirminghamIf you are interested in applying, please send your CV and examples of work to .
