Site Manager - Flat Roofing SystemsJob Title: Site Manager - Flat Roofing SystemsJob reference Number: 132366-8206-2495Industry Sector: Site Manager, Site Management, Roofer, Building Envelope, Roofing, Hard Metal Roofing, Single-Ply, Hot Melt, Flat Roofing, Green Roofs, Brown Roofs, Composite RoofingLocation: West Midlands Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 + discretionary bonusBenefits: Comprehensive benefits packageThe role of the Site Manager - Flat Roofing Systems will involve:

  • Site Manager position dealing with various roofing and cladding systems including: hot melt roofing, single-ply membranes, flat roofing, cladding, and rain screens
  • Working closely with the Contracts Manager
  • Manage and maintain all relevant health and safety documentation and ensure these are adhered to on site
  • Ensuring that projects are completed to the highest quality
  • Overseeing delivery schedules
  • Attending all site meetings to report on updated and any issues
  • Recording labour, progress, weather and delays to report back
  • Managing projects ranging in value from £200k to £3m
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with team, clients and subcontractors
The ideal applicant will be Site Manager - Flat Roofing Systems with:
  • Must have Site Management experience within the flat roofing market sector
  • Experience dealing with hot melt & single-ply membrane flat roofing systems
  • Must have either SMSTS or SSSTS
  • Ideally will have first aid qualifications
  • Time served as a roofer who has worked their way up to a management role
  • Must have a sound technical understanding of flat roofing
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • High levels of organisation and attention to detail
