Job Description

Other tasks will eventually include the installation of complex A2 systems (automated systems).This role is managed by the Regional technical manager and with a team size of approximately twelve engineers. The role requires both teamwork and independent working with a high number of nights away from home.Responsibilities

  • Performing of field missions at customers (repair, installation, maintenance,) with the required tools, technologies and documentation
  • Informing dispatcher /planner in case of deviation of target time and inform when mission is finished.
  • Spare part identification during missions
  • Use of service information system (SIS mobile)
  • Research for problem identification (SIP)
  • Providing information for mission classification changes: billable, warranty, goodwill. Inform supervisors in case of damages to machine based on customers fault.
  • Documentation of activities
  • Regular participation in training courses
  • Communication on work-progress and the error(s)
  • Customer care
  • In-house Service
  • Fill out quality feedback forms for installations.
  • Perform briefing after an installation and complex repairs.
  • Send back spare parts and tools after mission.
  • Make travel arrangements (flights, hotels, cars)
  • Lead engineer for complex installations
  • Reporting tasks to project manager during complex installations
  • Concise service supplementary reports for SCC (Tier 4) engineers or Germany
Deliverables
  • Service reports returned within two days.
  • Subsistence and Overtime completed by the 5th of the following month.
  • >50% workload on repair missions
  • High level of first-time fix rate >60%
  • Prepared to spend on average 3 - 4 nights a week away from home

Working Hours / Mobility
  • No set working hours on the contract- 45 hours per week standard, aim to be at customers by 8-9 oclock.
  • No Rota - Monday to Friday field-based work
  • At least five weekends per year will be worked
  • Paid door to door
  • Tracked Company Van - Personal use is fine after HMRC are informed
  • Full license with a maximum of six points
  • No Drink driving history
  • Company supplies all tools & Equipment
  • Overtime - Monday to Friday flat rate - Saturdays is 1.5 and Sundays is 2.0
