Job Description

The Job The Company:

  • One of the largest fluid power distributors in the UK and Ireland.
  • They have a great reputation in the market, they perform at the high end of the industry.
  • Have been dominating the fluid power distribution market for over 30 years.
  • Will be opportunities to progress and grow within the company.
The Role of the Service Engineer:
  • Maintain, repair installations, and optimise customer fluid power and/or electrical equipment.
  • Responding to service calls and providing on-site assistance.
  • Strict adherence to all relevant Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) procedures.
  • Identifying and diagnosing issues within fluid power systems.
  • Recommending and implementing improvements to enhance system performance.
  • Maintaining accurate records of system maintenance activities and repairs.

  • £28,000 - £38,000 depending on experience

The Ideal Person for the Service Engineer:
  • Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • Experience maintaining, repairing, and installing fluid power systems, including compressed air and hydraulic components.
  • Willing to travel to customer sites.
  • Strong communication skills.
