Service Engineer / Technical Service Support Engineer / Technical Installation Engineer required to join a leading compressed air supplier. (Must speak English fluently. Spanish, or German Speaking is advantageous)The Successful Service Engineer / Technical Service Support Engineer / Technical Installation Engineer will help to provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on compressed air equipment at customer sites across Europe and the surroundingareas. The Service Engineer / Technical Service Support Engineer / Technical Installation Engineer will ideally have a field Service background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering such as compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators,pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, rotating equipment or similar compressed air related equipment. Will also be able to speak fluent English. Spanish or German Speaking is advantageous).Package£45,000-£50,000 depending on experienceCompany Vehicle providedCompany pensionCompetitive holidayOvertimeAdditional benefitsService Engineer / Technical Service Support Engineer / Technical Installation Engineer RoleTo provide technical support to field service engineers on electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of compressed air systems, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air products.Develop and present training programs to end users and distributors on operation and maintenance. Assist customers with warranty queries, equipment start-up, maintenance, routine service, and troubleshooting. Help to maintain, repair and install air compressors,vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air and pneumatic equipment in Spain, Germany and the UK providing technical instructions to those installing compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into all forms of the manufacturingindustry.Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.Liaise with various engineering departments.Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer RequirementsProven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical/mechanical engineering systems.Must speak fluent English. Spanish or German Speaking would be advantageous. Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar.The ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.Good working knowledge of three phase electrics and controls is advantageous.Field servicing background in compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, pumps, motors, rotating equipment, capital equipment is advantageous. Full product training provided.A technical mechanical / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.Willingness to travel and commute to different parts of Europe and the UK occasionally to the USA for training.
