Job Description

Senior Sustainability Consultant | Birmingham | Permanent Ref: DB1908Competitive Salary Plus Benefits Our client is looking for a Senior Sustainability Consultant to join their multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy. The successful candidate will lead in delivering client sustainability design advice and influencing the transition to Net Zero Carbonacross projects.Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc degree in Sustainability, Energy, Environmental or similar
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Licensed BREEAM Assessor
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • BREEAM AP (Desirable)
  • Brilliant time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Duties:
  • Complete the BREEAM AP role for assessments, from pre-planning through to post construction
  • Produce sustainability reports and develop circular economy assessments
  • Build client relationships and support with Net Zero advice
  • Provide sustainability design advice and guidance to clients and colleagues
  • Support junior members of the team
  • Assist with Embodied Carbon Life Cycle assessments and reporting
  • Produce sustainability reports for planning
  • Fee proposals and input into team financial management
