Your new roleAs a Senior Regional NTRM you will be the regional lead for the National Technology Relationship Manager team in ensuring the consistent application, development, and introduction of technology solutions, sharing best practice, and supporting nationallyagreed decisions to support consistency and ensure best value for the business. Supporting the ROC Operations Managers, NTOC Management and the senior leadership teams in both Digital Services and the operational environment in ensuring the development, maintenance,and management of technology within the operational estate.This is a customer facing role, ideally four days per week onsite in a National Highways office.What youll be leading onTake personal responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and others by challenging, reporting and acting on any unsafe activities or conditions. Contribute to improvements which minimise risk to the health, safety and welfare of colleagues andstakeholders and carry out any tasks identified to the post in the Level 2 and relevant 2a Organisational Health & Safety RACI chartsLead a team of Regional National Technology Relationship Managers to validate any local requirements for continuous improvement opportunities presented by operations, liaise with colleagues and the ROC management teams within their regions. Coordinate withother NTRM Regional Management and the Operations OCD team to ensure a national consistent approach.Validate the requirement for technology within Operations, Digital Services and their suppliers. Support work required to seek approval for progression through the agreed governance.Chair monthly Operational Technology interlock meetings with a range of stakeholders including but not limited to Operations, Procurement, Major Projects, and Digital services. Establish regional technology differences, dependencies, escalations and requirementsfor Operational Technology.Promote continuous improvement and regional consistency of Operational Technology in the operational environmentThrough self and the National Technology Relationship Managers be able to provide tactical and strategic support ensuring Business Continuity in relation to both planned works and unforeseen technology events.Provide consistent direction and support to national and regional management teams during the roll out of operational technology projects and business as usual upgrades.Support and mentor team to ensure they take full responsibility for all aspects of their career development, helping identify opportunities and priority development areas.Develop and maintain key working relationships with Operations and the wider Digital Services team to promote a consistent way of working nationally.Escalation for regional NTRMs and Operations about the performance of our Operational Technology, analysing trends and creating reports on the technology availability.To be successfulExperience and understanding of working with Control Room Technology solutionsExperience of building and maintaining strong professional relationships to deliver results outside immediate teamExperience of managing and providing support to operational resources during crises and major events.A strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service.Strong evidence of successful incident and problem managementITIL qualification.People ManagementAs a Senior Regional NTRM you will support the Team Lead with the design, build, and operationalisation of services via your team.
