Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Rail Engineer for a major Civils/Light Rail project in the Black Country area of the West Midlands.Suitable candidate will have:Essential

  • In-date PTS
  • Strong rail background
  • Experience in track renewals, stressing, basic track geometry, setting out for track, ballasts and tamping experience.
  • Competent and able to use the Trimble kit with GPS and SPS930
  • Degree qualification in Construction or Rail / Civil Engineering.
  • Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel experience
Desirable
  • Experience in track monitoring, S&T & slab track
  • Highways, kerbs and drainage
  • CSCS
  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • Hand Back competency on Sentinel
If you don’t hold an in date PTS, other arrangements can be made depending on your previous experience and background.The site hours are: 07:30am - 17:30pmThe duration is until completion of works, which is until: 2026/2027
