Senior Quantity Surveyor - Roofing & Cladding SystemsJob Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor - Roofing & Cladding SystemsIndustry Sector: Quantity Surveyor, Quantity Surveying, SFS, Commercial Roofing, Industrial Roofing, Building Envelope, Roofing, Facades, Metal Roofing, Metal Cladding, Rain Screen Cladding, Flat Roofing, Green Roofs, Brown Roofs, Composite Roofing, Aluminium,ConstructionArea to be covered: Midlands & South, would consider remote workRemuneration: £65,000 - £75,000Benefits: £5,000 car allowance & comprehensive benefits packageThe role of the Senior Quantity Surveyor - Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve:

  • Quantity Surveyors position dealing with a range of roofing and cladding projects both in the new build and refurbishment sectors
  • Keeping up to date with site progress, recording progress made, and transferring information onto monthly payment applications
  • Prepare on-time monthly valuations following site measurements and work-in-progress reviews
  • Keeping track of monthly application figures and ensuring relevant departments are aware of potential budget or financial constraints
  • Reviewing labour schedules and comparing to actual progress on site
  • Pricing variations and changes in line with subcontractor parameters
  • Build, manage & maintain relationships with clients, contractors, other construction professionals, suppliers, and site staff
  • Working on projects ranging from £10k - £4m
The ideal applicant will be Senior Quantity Surveyor - Roofing & Cladding Systems with:
  • Must have extensive Quantity Surveying experience within the roofing and cladding market sectors
  • Ideally familiar with a range of roofing and cladding systems such as: commercial roofing, industrial roofing, cladding, SFS, metal cladding, metal roofing, flat roofing, green roofs, composite roofing, rainscreen, commercial cladding, industrial claddingetc
  • Must have experience working for a subcontractor dealing with multiple projects
  • Ideally an in-depth understanding of subcontracts (JCT Design & Build and NEC3)
  • Must hold a full UK driving license
  • Ideally will have a Quantity Surveying degree
  • Ideally will have CSCS card, however can be obtained at a later date
  • High levels of organisation
  • Enthusiastic, team play, who works well individually also
