We are representing a major insurer with a universally recognised brand. With offices throughout the country their UK operation focuses on delivering commercial insurance solutions to national brokers, independents, and larger provincials.Due to growth of the business our client is seeking a Senior PI Underwriter to join their experienced Financial Lines team. New business focused, you will be responsible for the Midlands region account, driving growth whilst dealing with larger and morecomplex Professional Indemnity renewals. In this key appointment you will also be responsible for providing guidance from both a technical and sales perspective to your less experienced colleagues.To apply for this role, it is essential that you are have established relationships in the Midlands regional broking market combined with extensive experience in underwriting Professional Indemnity risks. You will be confident in presenting to clients, workingclosely with sales and operational management to achieve key business goals. Essentially you must possess a trading mentality, with proven sales and negotiation abilities.Working for a global market leader you will receive a full benefits package in addition to a competitive basic salary and bonus.
