Senior Penetration TesterMy client is a well known global brand currently hiring an in-house Senior Penetration Tester in the Birmingham area. You’ll do more than just the standard WebApp, mobile and Infrastructure testing and gain exposure to securing critical infrastructure and SCADA systems. These are highly sought after skills in the UK right now and my client is willing to teach you everything you need to become an expert.Whilst leading a small team of Testers you will develop your own technical skill set whilst embedding your self within the global security function. This will include Red Team and social engineering exercises.This is an opportunity which will allow you to do so much more than just secure general businesses and see the same vulnerabilities day in day out. You will have a real impact on our nation’s security.To be successful you will need to:• Be an experienced Penetration Tester with a background in testing Web Applications and Infrastructure • Have strong reporting skills and ability to translate technical matters • Experience using tools such as Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, Kali Linux, Burp Suite Pro or similar• Ideally have exposure to Red Teaming, social engineering and an understanding of CBEST framework • Experience in common scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, LUA, Powershell or BASH and use of at least one development language e.g. Java, C, C# or similar• Have an awareness of other security roles and ability to communicate with other teams • A good understanding of Cloud based architectures including Azure and AWS and experience of working within the MITRE ATT&CK framework• Understanding of Industrial control systems including SCADA would be beneficial but not essential • You will ideally have a recognised certifications such as CHECK Team Member (CTM), CREST CERTIFIED Tester (CRT), Cyber Scheme Team Member, Tiger Scheme Team Member. • Other certs such as the OSCP or OSWP would also be consideredSo if you’re a technically proficient Tester looking for the opportunity to diversify your projects, please apply for an immediate response!
