We are supporting our multinational client in Birmingham to appoint an immediately available Senior Management Accountant following an impressive FY20 in line with their strategic goals and a strong financial performance with 10 - 20% growth across various business units despite COVID. Our client is part of an exciting and agile sector which provides opportunities for continuous growth and innovation. This role is a mix of home working and site based.Reporting to the Senior Leadership and Business Directors with overview of a high performing Management Accounts team you will primarily take ownership for; financial reporting, board review meetings, communicating costs models to Sales teams, and compiling budgeting- forecasting.Our client is looking for a commercially fluent candidate with a strong track record of delivering with commercial pace. A technically strong accountant with an ability to consolidate figures received from multiple sources and collaborate positively across the business would be ideal.Ideally, you will:• Provide key financials to the Executive Board with key analysis and commentary provided• Be responsible to cover the Balance Sheet, P&L, and continuous improvement processes for all business units• Compile Month End accounting; reviewing business unit revenues whilst developing robust financial reporting• Review Management Accounts Team’s monthly reporting for balance sheet reconciliations and key financials• Review the team performance and ensure work allocation is deployed for optimum outcomes• Support the transformation and change project teams with an subject matter expertiseIn return, you will:• Have the opportunity gain experience within an established leading global and growing business• Be welcome into a co-operative finance team in a brand new purpose built office space• Receive full training and guidance to excel in this role Required skills
