Job Description

Title: Senior Lifecycle Cost Consultant Location: NationalReporting to: Partner, Specialist SolutionsDepartment Overview:We are a sector focused business actively operating and investing in Commercial, Data Centre, Residential, Education, Healthcare and Retail clients and projects. Surveyors work in close contact with the client, advising them on financial and legal mattersthat arise during the project.Overview of Role:We are currently recruiting aSenior Lifecycle Cost Consultant, to join ourSpecialist Solutions team. This is an exciting opportunity for a high calibre individual to join and strengthen our business.This role presents an excellent prospect for a proactive individual to take responsibility for providing all core Lifecycle Cost Management services on a variety of projects.Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing specialist lifecycle cost advice and optimisation of whole-life costs and performance for a range of projects and assets, including whole-life/ lifecycle cost models and options appraisals tailored to projects and clients
  • Providing whole-life cost outputs and data to support economic and business cases
  • Providing bespoke advice to clients including research and data gathering, quantitative analysis (including lifecycle, energy and risk models), data analysis and evaluation
  • Carrying out consultancy assignments in a wide range of sectors in the construction industry
  • Producing high-quality technical outputs to clients including models, presentations, reports and datasets
  • Identifying and contributing to business development opportunities where appropriate as well as input on proposal and bid development
  • Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner; meeting and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationships
Person Specification:The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role, and will be committed to delivering customer service excellence, with good commercial results.
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar technical discipline
  • Experience of delivering lifecycle modelling analysis and advice (or similar services) within the construction industry
  • MRICS or membership of other relevant professional body preferred - or studying toward
  • Commercial experience with specialist expertise in whole-life and lifecycle costing in construction
  • Experience preparing analysis and reports
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (particularly Excel), general strong IT skills
  • Knowledge of Asset Management & BREEAM projects would be beneficial.
  • Ability to successfully manage complex projects in a proactive and diligent manner
  • Client facing, ensuring a high standard of technical delivery
  • Able to build long-term relationships
  • Previously employed by a consultancy or end user client
  • A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines
  • A team player, outgoing, flexible, enthusiastic and ambitious
