Job Description

Audit and Risk Recruitmentare excited to be working with a well-known broadcaster who are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Internal Auditor to join their audit team.Our client utilises television, radio and online platforms to connect the public with topical, educational and creative programmes. This role will involve a range of audit work including operational audits behind-the-scenes at broadcasting centres andproduction sites.This is an exciting opportunity to spend one year with a globally recognised broadcaster and support a well-established audit team with the option to move into the wider business after one year.Responsibilities include:

  • Identify key risks and prepare detailed audit testing plans based on your findings.
  • Meticulous audit testing and flexing work plans in response to emerging risks.
  • Acknowledge issues, impacts, root causes and recommendations with management throughout the course of audit assignments.
  • Act as an advocate for internal control, sharing expertise within the team and encouraging best practice behaviours across the business.
  • Write clear, concise, robust and balanced audit reports.
  • Lead or participate in tasks or projects required to meet departmental objectives.
  • The role will also manage relationships with key stakeholders across the business and with other team members.
About you
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CIA / IIA qualified.
  • A strong internal audit background and within a large, complex organisation.
  • Experience leading and delivering risk-based internal audits, end to end.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven problem solver with strong organisational and time management skills.
Very low international and regional travel.Hybrid working available.Up to £55,000 DOE.
